1. Fast & Trackable Worldwide Shipping

All Alebrijed sculptures are carefully handcrafted in our Colombian studio and shipped securely via DHL Express directly to your door. Once your custom piece is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number so you can follow its journey every step of the way.

2. The "Original Art" Customs Advantage (HS Code 9703)

As a professional art studio, all our sculptures are exported under the international customs classification for Original Artwork (HS Code 9703.00.00). The excellent news for our collectors is that under international trade agreements, original art is generally exempt from import tariffs (0% Duties) in most major countries, including the US, Canada, and the EU. This means you are not paying import penalties; you are simply paying your standard local taxes.

3. Local Taxes & Import Fees by Region

While the artwork itself is typically duty-free, all international packages are subject to standard customs clearance. Your local government will assess your standard local sales tax (VAT/GST) and DHL will apply a standard administrative clearance fee upon arrival. These fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer. DHL will send you a secure link to easily manage this payment from your phone prior to delivery.

• 🇺🇸 United States: Due to current US customs regulations, all imports are subject to clearance. You will typically only be responsible for your specific State Sales Tax and the carrier's processing fee.

• 🇨🇦 Canada: Canada's duty-free threshold is $20 CAD. You will be responsible for paying local sales taxes (GST/HST/PST) and standard DHL brokerage fees.

• 🇰🇷 South Korea: You will be subject to a local 10% VAT. Additionally, the South Korean government strictly requires a Personal Customs Clearance Code (PCCC) to process your shipment, which we will request from you before dispatching your order.

4. Safe Transit Guarantee

Our colored polymer clay sculptures are naturally resilient, and we pack them with extreme care specifically for international travel. In the rare event that the carrier mishandles your box and the piece arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery providing clear photos of the damage and the packaging. We will work closely with you to offer a repair, a partial replacement, or manage a DHL insurance claim.
