About Alebrijed
Your pet, turned into tiny art
Alebrijed is a small art studio dedicated to turning real pets into miniature sculptures, made entirely by hand in polymer clay.
Each piece is a one of a kind portrait of your dog, cat (or any beloved companion), created from your photos and memories.
No molds. Just time, patience and a lot of love for details.
How each Alebrijed piece is made
Alebrijed works in a very specific way:
instead of painting on top of a generic base, every color is mixed directly into the clay.
That means:
• the fur tones are created color by color in the clay,
• markings, spots and gradients are sculpted, not painted,
• eyes, noses and tiny details are built layer by layer,
• once finished, the piece is baked so it becomes light and durable.
This technique allows each sculpture to feel more alive and true to your pet, because the color is part of the piece itself not something added later.
How it started
Alebrijed was born from a simple desire:
to keep our animals close, even when they can’t be physically with us.
It began with small sculptures of my own and my loved ones’ pets,
mixing clay color by color to capture “that” specific look the exact shade of fur, the way the ears fall,
the expression in their eyes when they see you come home.
My story with Alebrijed is deeply personal.
I lost my beloved cat Loki, and sculpting became a way to feel him near again a way to honor a bond that still lives in my heart.
Today, my partner and I have a big fur family:
Coco, Sascha, Blu, Freyja, Thor, and my angel Loki, who continues to inspire the tenderness behind each piece.
Little by little, people began asking:
“Can you make my dog too?”
“Could you sculpt my cat from this old photo?”
“A tiny portrait of the one who crossed the rainbow bridge?”
That’s how Alebrijed became what it is today:
a custom miniature studio that turns your pet’s presence
into something you can wear, gift or keep forever.
What you can order
Each Alebrijed sculpture can become:
• a mini pendant
• a charm for necklace or bracelet
• a brooch / pin
The wearable pieces are between 1 and 2 cm, so they stay tiny, lightweight and easy to keep close to you every day.
The custom process
Every piece is made to order.
1. You send your pet’s photos
preferably several angles and any special details (spots, markings, expressions).
2. We choose the format
pendant, pin, keychain, frame… and the metal finish.
3. I sculpt your pet in miniature
mixing clay colors to match the fur and eyes as closely as possible.
4. You receive your Alebrijed
carefully packaged, ready to keep, gift or wear as a daily reminder of your bond.
